習近平計劃在近三年來的首次外訪中與拜登會面
據知情人士透露，中國官員正在為習近平今年11月訪問東南亞並與美國總統拜登面對面會談做準備工作。如果成行，這將是這位中國領導人近三年來首次出國訪問，也是自拜登就任總統後，兩人的首次面對面會晤。
知情人士說，預計習近平將從巴厘島前往泰國首都曼谷，出席兩天後舉行的亞太經濟合作組織(Asia-Pacific Olymp Trade关于全球金融危机的专家评论 Olymp Trade关于全球金融危机的专家评论 Economic Cooperation, 簡稱APEC)峰會。知情人士說，部分籌備工作是為習近平與拜登在這兩個峰會之一的間隙可能進行會晤做準備。籌備工作仍處於早期階段，可能會有變化。
